    Great Podcast!!

First, I greatly appreciated the discussions around guilt and nature verses nurture.

I think I’ve finally come to a place of acceptance around my desires and let go of the societal and religious guilt, but my heart still sighs in relief when I hear other stories similar to mine. So thanks everyone for sharing!!!

Secondly, I believe there terms sex addiction and therapy came up and I wanted to clarify some terms. I know regulations vary by state and province, but I believe the two different camps are still applicable. There is sex therapy and sex addiction therapy. While there are moderates in both groups, in general, sex addiction therapy will have more religious undertones and will recommend drastically cutting back or abstaining from sexual behaviors. On the other side is sex therapy, which is hopefully sex positive, client driven, systemic, and delves into underling issues. While I would recommend a sex therapist over a sex addiction therapist any day, still try and get trusted referrals. For areas regarding non-vanilla relationships or sexual issues, people see an average of five therapists before finding a helpful counselor.

    All the best!
